One of our biggest concerns at every property we manage is the topic of "Rules". Questions about what the specific rules are and how they will be enforced, flood our office every year. Rules Day was established in an effort to avoid the confusion that arises when the lifeguard staff and the membership interpret the rules differently, which can cause frustration and inconsistency in the supervision of the pool area.

By the 1st part of June, you will find a sign advertising the date and time of your Rules Day posted at your pool. The program will last about twenty (20) minutes and will take place within the first couple weekends of operation. The entire staff will have a chance to explain to everyone exactly what the rules are, and how they will be enforced.

Our goal is twofold:

• To inform every one of the rules to be enforced, and why they are in place.
• To establish a level of consistency within our team as it pertains to the enforcement of your pool rules.

In addition, on Rules Day, our team members will administer a Swim Test to those children who are ready to demonstrate their swimming ability.
